The rooms are quite basic (bed, washroom, and fridge), but that’s all you really need as you’ll likely spend majority of your time exploring. Carlo’s staff took care of our laundry at no additional charge and delivered it to our room, which I found to be very nice. The bus stop (yes there’s a bus!) is also a 2 minute walk from the pensione, and loops around every 10-15 mins. There are great restaurants within 2-5 mins walking distance, as well as a convenient store. The location is great and offers a beautiful view of Positano and the sea from the balconies and terrace. You can visit the dessert restaurant situated close by and taste Italian cuisine.We had a pleasant stay at Pensione Maria-Luisa. The a la carte Ristorante Saraceno D'Oro restaurant specialises in Campania dishes. Guests can enjoy their morning meal in the restaurant. Along with a bidet and a shower, the private bathrooms also come with hair dryers and bath sheets. The nice touches include a marble floor together with a sofa and a writing desk. Some units at the accommodation are fitted with an individual climate control and central heating, and such self-catering options as a mini bar fridge. Due to a location right by a bus stop, this property offers easy access to other parts of Positano. Pensione Maria Luisa is also around 5 minutes' drive from Ceramiche Casola. Nature lovers will appreciate the proximity to Spiaggia Fornillo, which is less than 5 minutes' walk away. This Positano hotel is placed in 5 minutes' stroll of Fornillo Beach and right by a supermarket and shops. Spiaggia del Fornillo is placed 0.6 km from the accommodation, while Roman Archeological Museum MAR is nearly a 20-minute stroll away.
